Take Your Child to the Library Day

Saturday, February 7th from 9 to noon.

Join us for the 15th Annual Take Your Child to the Library Day! 

We'll have a family painting activity, games, refreshments, and more.  Make plans to join us.

Art Journaling

Friday, Feb. 6th from 5-7 p.m.
Wednesday, Feb. 18th from 5-7 p.m.

This program is open to teens and adults and we meet the 1st Friday & the 3rd Wednesday of each month.  Feel free to attend either of both sessions.  No experience necessary.  You will receive a journal on your first session to be used for future classes.

Mini Art Show at the Scotland Public Library

Stop by the library from February 7th through March 15th to check out the artwork created by our patrons.  

Valentine Drop-in Craft

Stop by the library between February 10th-13th to make a Valentine for a special someone.  All supplies will be provided.

Get creative making your own small magazine.
Instructions and supplies will be provided. You are welcome to bring in some pictures of your own to use.
Light snacks will be available.
Open to ages 10-adult.

Meditation for People Who Can't Meditate

Wednesday, March 4th from 6-7 p.m.

Maggie Downie, founder of Personal Euphoria and a certified trainer, will be here to guide you through basic mediation practices
mantra, breathing, imagery, and movement,
to help you relax and bring calm to your life.

Signups recommended as space is limited. Contact the library to register.
